As a working board, our council members’ commitment, vision, skills, and values are the basis of success for the Iowa SILC. If you are passionate about independent living, respect the experiences of others, and believe in people with disabilities making decisions about their own lives, we encourage you to fill out an application. Most appointments are made by the Governor each June, but you may apply anytime throughout the year.
