Jonathan (Jon) Raley graduated with honors from Coe College in December of 2018 with a degree in Economics and Business Administration. Jon is an advocate for Iowans with disabilities, and has served as a Voting Member on the Iowa SILC since 2017.
Professionally, Jon has owned and operated several businesses within the greater Iowa City and Cedar Rapids area over the course of the past decade. This includes Golden Landscaping, AdVenture Asset Management & Development, as well as Hawks Nest Sports Bar and Grill. Currently he is employed with the Hyatt Hotels corporation where he assists with their corporate sales department.
These experiences have helped shape him into an asset for the SILC, where he is able to focus his time and energy as the Chair of the Resource Development Committee. Therein, Jon has a passion for helping raise awareness and funds for the SILC.
Along with his position as a Vice-President on the SILC, as a former Eagle Scout himself, Jon also finds time in his schedule to volunteer as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 232. In his free time, his passions include canyoneering, climbing, wakeboarding, and international travel.
